The Job
When this 2011 Ford F-150 came in, it needed serious engine attention. Timing issues and cylinder head work are among the most involved jobs in the shop — requiring precision, experience, and a methodical approach to get right. This is exactly the kind of work that separates a real shop from a quick-lube joint.
Timing Service

The timing system on Ford’s F-150 engines is a known wear point — when it goes, it can mean catastrophic engine damage if not caught in time. We performed a full timing service including all associated components, ensuring everything is properly aligned and operating within spec.
Done right, a timing job like this gives the engine a new lease on life and protects against the kind of failure that turns a repair bill into an engine replacement.
Cylinder Heads & Valve Service

With the engine open, we performed a full cylinder head service — addressing the valves and all associated components. Cylinder head work requires the engine to be partially or fully disassembled, giving us the opportunity to inspect everything thoroughly and address any issues before they become bigger problems down the road.
This kind of job is as much about precision reassembly as it is about the repair itself — torque specs, gasket sealing, and proper sequencing all matter enormously when putting a high-mileage truck engine back together.

The Result
A 2011 F-150 with a properly rebuilt top end — timed correctly, sealed properly, and ready for years of reliable service. The owner drives a work truck that depends on this engine daily, and that’s exactly the standard we held ourselves to.
